The Paperback collecting  The Dark Tower: The Drawing of The Three – House of Cards, Issues 1-5, will be released by Marvel on September 22, 2015. As before sadly true for “The Drawing of The Three – The Prisoner”, there will apparently be no hardcover issue.

New Dark Tower Comic Series Started: The Prisoner

Today is the release date for the first issue of the next Dark Tower comic/graphic novel adaptation.  The comic version of the book “The Drawing of the Three” will start with a five-issue miniseries named “The Prisoner”. As in the book, it will start introducing Eddie Dean, a young man with huge problems and amazing talents in 1960s Brooklyn.

Written by Robin Furth and Peter David, The Drawing of the Three – The Prisoner #1 is now available in comic book shops and as a digital download from comixology.

Available at comixology.com, and, for the first time, the comics will be available on the release day in Europe as well, as digital comic books at comixology.eu.

“Featuring cover artwork by Julian Totino Tedesco and interior artwork by Piotr Kowalski and Nick Filardi, The Prisoner #1 kicks off a thrilling and emotional five-part series sure to please the Constant Reader.”
